The comradery of a group of men who both have my back and challenge me to be a better person.

Is there any special moment or story about your men's team and MDI that stands out to you, that makes you smile proudly?

My men’s team works with a local women’s shelter and we help out with gardening, odd jobs and put on a Halloween and Christmas party. The memory that stands out for me is carving pumpkins with some kids from the shelter and seeing the joy and big smiles from getting to do this activity with a positive group of men. It was awesome!

Is there an area in your life, that you've completely transformed with your men's team?

Through the support of my men’s team I now have the relationship with my father that I have always wanted.

What would you say to a new man who is considering joining an MDI men's team?

If you are looking for a place to get support from other men and to be challenged to be the best you can be, then an MDI men’s team is the place for you.
