TED and TEDx are number one in terms of YouTube subscribers and Views. But that’s not why they are number one on my list. They are number one on my list because they’ve had the most impact on my life. I don’t think I would have started doing personal development work without watching Brené Brown’s talks The power of vulnerability and listening to shame more times than I care to admit.
If you’re not familiar with Ted Talks, they feature some of the best thinkers and practitioners in the world. Then they boil down what is usually a one – or two-hour speech into an 18-minute (or less) talk that distills the essence of the author’s big idea. You can find a talk that speaks to any challenge in your life.

Your relationships are the most important part of your life. Yet navigating relationships can feel like you’re crossing a field full of landmines — blind. My greatest power kicks-in when I get out of my head and connect with my heart and emotions. This is where Mateusz M’s channel shines. It’s short form and it cuts to your emotional core. Plus, it’s a not-for-profit channel.
Search YouTube Like A Pro
Did you know that YouTube is more than a video playing channel? It’s also the world’s second-largest search engine. Alphabet Inc., Google’s parent company, owns YouTube.
If you spent any time on YouTube you know that there’s a search bar at the top of the page. It’s great for finding anything in the YouTube universe.
Here’s what you might not have known. Each channel has its own mini search engine. Just click on the magnifying glass to the right of the about section of the channel and search to your heart’s content.
