We’ve all had one. A teammate – at work, at home, on the playing field and, yes, even on a Men’s Team – who set our teeth on edge.
But perhaps there was a moment when we realized that even the worst teammate had something to offer us, something of value, even if it was simply a reflection of our own worst qualities.
In this, our December issue, our writers explore the notion of our Least Favorite (but Most Valuable) Teammate. (Special thanks to our columnist, Michael ‘Burnsie’ Burns, for suggesting this powerful theme.)
But let’s not forget, it’s also time for the annual Legacy Magazine MDI Man of the Year nominations. Time is short and the winner will be announced in our next issue.

Who Will be Legacy Magazine's 'MDI Man of the Year 2025'?
Since 2014, Legacy Magazine has crowned one man – a man deemed by his peers to be truly living the mission of MDI – as our MDI Man of the Year.
Nominated by you, this is our opportunity to honor and celebrate the best among us. The MDI Man of the Year is not just for men in top leadership, and it’s not about who has done more over the years.
This is about a Man Who is On Fire Right Now.
