What commitments do you hold, which you believe would define who you are as a man? There’s a saying that goes something like: “You can judge a man by the commitments he holds.” Where are you in relationship with your sense of commitment? If you are open to learning a deep and profound lesson about commitment, you may bring yourself to learn deep and profound lessons about yourself. Consider this discussion. For many the idea of commitment and challenge are things to avoid. These “opportunities” are obligatory. We don’t always get to choose these circumstances, After all, we live life through endurance and duress. And when our time comes, we die. Another way to look at “the way it is” is to consider, where do you stand with your relationship with your own commitment? What kind of man are you? Where is your edge? As life provides challenges for us, it is here that we begin to learn and understand exactly what we are capable. How can we understand what giving your best even looks like, unless we face the challenges which requires this of ourselves? Today, as you face your challenges, consider your challenge an opportunity to make you better. Take on your challenge in earnest. You might find yourself completing a challenge. You may find yourself presented with an entirely new set of challenges. Instead of a rote set of challenges to avoid, you may embrace an aspect of yourself that makes you a better man. As iron sharpens iron, so shall man sharpen man. Leave a comment below, and let us know what challenge you’re ready to take on.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
